MEET PATTIE GILBERT
YOUR PASSIONATE NATIVE THAI COOK
I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. Growing up among families that are passionate about cooking and dining helps shaping my authentic Thai flavor palette.
My fondest childhood memory is gathering at dinner with my parents. We spent our quality time as a family sharing stories of our day and savored wonderful dishes my mother made.
In 2006, I relocated in California to became a full time house wife and a step mother. During that time, I dedicated myself fully to my family and began to intensively immerse myself in the Kitchen. I discovered that food Is my love language.
I studied fundamental cooking in San Francisco and explored international cuisines and spent some time in In Barcelona, Istanbul and Paris learning to cook with locals.
In the professional world, I specialize in Hospitality management, obtained a certification from Cornell University in 2019 and worked in multiple industries food & beverage, airlines, and hotel industry. I have also been working in vacation rentals and long term rental management for several years.
I am excited to share my knowledge in cooking, Thai cuisine, stories of Thai traditions & culture along with my warm Thai hospitality with you in a comfort of your own Kitchen.
